Recruitment for Grade III of Departmental Posts in the Primary Non-Technical Service Category (PL 01 -2006 – A) of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media

Applications are invited from the following qualified candidates to fill the vacant posts in the Primary Non-Technical Service Category (PL-01) of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, and the hospitals and institutions that are under the Ministry.

02. Qualification Required
2.1. Educational Qualifications and Professional Qualifications
(When attending the interview, it is compulsory to submit the originals of educational certificates issued by the Department of Examinations.)

2.2. Physical Qualifications:- Every candidate shall be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka and to perform the duties of the post.

2.3. Other:-
(i) Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
(ii) Should be of unblemished character.
(iii) The qualifications required for recruitment to the post shall be completed in every respect as at the date referred to in the notification calling for applications, on which the necessary qualifications for the recruitment to the post must be fulfilled.

03. Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age
04. Method of Recruitment:
4.1 Grade of Recruitment: Recruitment shall be made only for the post of Grade III Health Service Aid (Junior).

05. Salary structure and monthly salary scale:
Rs. 40,000-10×450-10×490-10×540–12×590 -Rs. 61,880 (PL-01–2025) (In terms of Schedule (II) of P.A. Circular No.
10/2025) (Initial step of the year 2026 is Rs. 38,863/-)
