1. a) Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes

for four subjects including

Sinhala/ Tamil

ii English language

1. b) Having passed there subjects (other than the General Knowledge Paper and English Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) in one sitting.

Employees of the categories of Primary Level-Skilled, Semi-skilled, and Unskilled who pass the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

1. a) Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including

i Sinhala/ Tamil

ii English language

iii Mathematics

1. b) Having completed a minimum of five (05) years in Primary Level Skilled, Semi-Skilled, and Unskilled categories and satisfactory service in a permanent post under the above employee category.

Method of Selection

Written Competitive Examination and Interview.

This examination will be one paper (3 hours) including three parts covering subject areas given below.

Salary Scale: LKR 46,220.00 – 10 x 540.00 LKR 51,620.00

The hard copy of the application should be sent under registered cover to reach the Director General, Sri Lanka Standards Institution, No. 17, Victoria Place, Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 08 on or before 2025-06-18. Fees are charged for the examination fee may vary depending on the number of applications received and will be notified later. The examination admission card will be sent to the applicant only after the examination fee is paid. Applicants employed in the Public Sector Institutions must submit their applications through the respective Heads of their Institutions.
