The Central Environmental Authority (CEA), under the Ministry of Environment, has announced 136 vacancies for the Environmental Officer (MA 5-1, Grade III) post. This recruitment drive attracts qualified and dynamic professionals to contribute to environmental pollution control, management, education, and awareness initiatives across Sri Lanka.

Key Details:
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must hold a UGC-recognized Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Physical Science, Biological Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, Sociology, Mass Communication, or Geography (Special).
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 22 and 45 years old.

Salary Scale: Selected candidates will be placed on a salary scale of Rs. 58,740-109,410, with an initial step of Rs. 49,031 as per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.

Selection Process: Candidates will undergo a competitive written examination covering:

Subject Knowledge (Environment Pollution Control, Waste Management, etc.)
