1. Post-Manager – Procurement
Qualifications – External Candidates
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Business Studies/ Business Management / Plantation Management / Management / Commerce / Public Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management or any other degree subject relevant to the post, which is recognized by the UGC.
AND
A minimum of one year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field to the Post in a Corporation / Statutory Board / Institution or a reputed private institution, after obtaining the first degree.
Internal Candidates (1 or 2 below)
1. Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above.
2. Completion of a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a post in the Junior Manager (JM) Category, in the subject area relevant to the post in the Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation.

Qualifications – External Candidates
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Management / Commerce / Public Management or any other degree subject relevant to the post which is recognized by the U.G.C.
Internal Candidates (1 or 2 below)
1. Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above.
2. Completion of a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a post of the ‘Management Assistant-Non Technological’ (MA 1-1) Grade II, in the subject area relevant to the post.

4. Post-Assistant Superintendents
Qualifications – External Candidates (1 or 2, or 3 below):
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Plantation Management or any other degree subject relevant to the post, which is recognized by the UGC.
2. Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification Level 6 in the field of Tea Plantation issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute/National Institute of Plantations Management accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
WITH
At least five (05) years post-qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board, Regional Plantation Company, or a Reputed Statutory Institution.
3. Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification Level 5 in the field of Tea Plantation issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute/National Institute of Plantations Management accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission
WITH
At least ten (10) years post-qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board, Regional Plantation Company, or a reputable statutory Institution.

5. Post – Personal Assistant to Chairman
Personal Assistant to General Manager
Qualifications – External Candidates
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Management / Commerce / Public Management or any other degree subject relevant to the post, which is recognized by the UGC, with a postgraduate diploma in the relevant field.
Salary Scale
Basic Salary Step Age
Rs.62,310/-, 10×1,360/-, 15×1,670/-, 5 x 2,040/- 111,160/- (MA 5-2-2025) (Per Month) + Approved Government Allowances.
Rs 51,488/- (As per Schedule ii of Management Services Circular No.01/2025)
Age for all above posts should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.
6. Post-Management Assistant
Qualifications – External Candidates Educational :
(a) Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects, including;
i.Sinhala/ Tamil
ii. English language
iii. Mathematics
(b) Having passed three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.
Internal Candidates
Employees of the categories of Primary Level-Skilled and Primary Level-Unskilled, having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the above employee category.
Salary Scale – Basic Salary Step
Rs.46,220/-, 10×540/-, 7×630/-, 4×890/-, 20 × 1,190/- 83,390/- (MA 1-1-2025) (Per Month) + Approved Government Allowances

Extra Benefits
Age should be not less than 18 and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.
Facilities under the Indoor and Outdoor Medical Insurance Scheme.
Contribute to the Employees’ Provident Fund or the Ceylon Planters’ Provident Society a minimum of 10% of your salary to such Provident Fund, and the SLSPC contribution to such Provident Fund will be a maximum of 12% and 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund of your salary.
