The Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology (IBMBB), University of Colombo, will accept applications from suitably qualified persons for the above post until 23rd September 2025.
1. QUALIFICATIONS
Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with at least two (02) credit passes in not more than two settings.
Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years

2. SALARY AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:
Salary Code: U-PL 1 (III)
Rs. 42,775- 16x 450- 49 975 p.m.
Additionally, the government-approved allowances applicable to the University system will be paid.
The selected candidate will be a member of the University’s Provident Fund as well as the University Pension Scheme. He/ She will contribute 10% of his/her monthly salary to the University’s Provident Fund, and at the same time,e the employer will make a total contribution of 15% of his/her salary, of which 8% will be credited to the University’s Pension Fund and 7% to the University’s Provident Fund. Three percent (3%) of the salary will be contributed by the University to the Employees’ Trust Fund in terms of the provisions of the Employees’ Trust Fund Act, No. 46 of 1980.

2. Having obtained the license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic for driving heavy vehicles and a minimum of three (03) years of experience in driving after obtaining the driving license

1. Should have passed the G.C.E. (OIL) Examination in six (06) subjects with at least two (02) credit passes in not more than two sittings and having obtained a proficiency certificate not bellow than the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 2 or 3, issued by a Technical/ Vocational training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, relevant to the function of each post.
