Application Called for G.C.E OL 2025 (2026)

General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination –2025(2026)

All applicants should submit their applications for this examination online.

Applications from private candidates for the above examination will be accepted from September 18, 2025, to October 9, 2025. Each private candidate is advised to carefully read this notification and thoroughly understand it before filling out and submitting the online application. Special attention should be paid to accurately entering the selected Town and Subjects of the examination. Any later requests for amendments will not be considered.

2. Applications
2.1. After completing the application online, it is mandatory to keep a printed copy of the PDF file safely in possession, if needed for later submission. It is not required to send the printed copy to the Department.

Only the applicants who have obtained Student’s Performance Record (school leaving certificate/ Education B59) are allowed to apply as private applicants. Applying as a private candidate by being a student in a school is entirely prohibited. Committing of such offence shall be subjected to invalidating of examination results and debarring from sitting any future examinations.

2.2. You will not be able to apply for this examination after 12.00 midnight on 09th October 2025. The online platform will be closed after 12.00 midnight of the prescribed date. Closing date of applications will not be extended for any reason.

2.3. A candidate should submit one application only. Submitting more than one application will result in the rejection of all applications of the candidate, and legal actions will be taken against such candidates. Any revelation of such fraudulent incidents, even after the issuance of results, will cause the invalidation of the results of such candidates, and legal actions will be taken.
