VACANCIES
Applications are invited from the citizens of Sri Lanka for the following vacancies that exist in the Ceylon Fisheries
Corporation.
Category: Manager
Post: Manager/ Senior Manager (Purchasing, Sales and Distribution) (MM 1-1)
Qualifications:
External Candidates.
A Degree in Marketing/ Commerce/ Business Administration, which is recognized by the University Grant
Commission.
And
A minimum of one year post-qualifying experience relevant to the field of Fish Purchasing/ Sales and
Distribution after obtaining the first Degree in Public Service/ Corporation/ Statutory Board/ Institution/
Reputed Private Institution.
Internal Candidates: (1 or 2 below)
1. Having obtained the qualifications required by the External Candidates as stated above.
2. Completion of a minimum of five years satisfactory service in a post of the Junior Manager Employee Category
(JM 1-1), Grade II, relevant to the field of Fish Purchasing/ Sales and Distribution.
Salary Code & Scale
MM 1-1 – 2025 Rs. (91,690-10 x 2,480-15 x 3,450- 168,240)
Other allowances (cost-of-living allowance and budgetary allowance) are entitled as per the circular issued by the government.
Other Benefits
1. 10% will be deducted from the salary for EPF, and the Corporation will contribute 15%
2. The Corporation will contribute 3% the ETF
3. Official Transport facilities /or allowances will be provided as per the Government circulars
General Conditions:
a) Age should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.
b) Candidates who are employed in Government Departments / State Corporations / Statutory Boards should forward their

c) Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
d) Should have an excellent moral character.
