VACANCIES

Rajarata University of Sri Lanka will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the following posts up to 17.09.2025

 01.     Post of Project Manager

Qualifications:

1. (a) Should possess a B.Sc. Engineering degree from a recognized university/HEI specializing in Civil Engineering

OR

Should possess a B.Sc Engineering degree from a recognized university/HEI specializing in Quantity Surveying

OR

Equivalent professional qualifications

AND

• Possess a Corporate membership from a recognized Engineering organization

OR

Possess a Corporate membership from a recognized institute of Quantity Surveying.

AND

• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in construction projects, handling contracts as well as managing direct

Method of Recruitment     : Selection by structured interview.

Salary Scale                          : Rs. 113690 – 8×2400 ; 8×2940 – 156410 p.m. U-EX 2(II)

02.     Post of Management Assistant – Grade III

 Qualifications:

1. Should have passed the G.C.E.(O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with credit passes in:-
   1. Sinhala Language / Tamil Language
   2. English Language / English Literature

• Mathematics &

2. Should have passed in all subjects at C.E.(A/L) Examination (except the Common General Paper) at one sitting.

(Passing in 3 subjects under the old syllabus at one sitting would be sufficient for this purpose.)

3. Preference will be given to those who possess the following:
4. An acceptable qualification in computer applications of not less than six (06) months duration obtained from recognized

& Two years of experience in the use of computer application

Note:- Eligibility

1. Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
2. Should be of good character

Method of Recruitment : Selection   by   Written   Examination   (75%   marks)   of

following Subjects:

• Knowledge in Sinhala/ Tamil & English
• Intelligent quotient and General
• Computer and
• Interview (25% marks)

Age                 : Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age on the closing date of applications.

Salary Scale : Rs. 49475 – 17×540 – 58655 p.m. U-MN 1(III)

  03.        Post of Assistant Farm Manager

 Qualifications:

1. A Special Degree in Agriculture of a recognized

OR

1. A two-year Diploma in Agriculture of a recognized institution with not less than three years of field experience in a recognized establishment after completing the

 04.        Post of Works Aide – Grade III

 Qualifications:

1. Should have passed the C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with at least two
   • credit passes in not more than two subjects

 Should have sat for the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.
