01. Engineer (Civil) – (Vacancies 01)
| External qualification | Recruitment will be done externally
1). BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. OR 2). An associate member of the Chartered Institute of Engineers. |

02. Accountant – (Vacancies 07)
| External qualification | 1). Higher National Diploma in Accountancy OR Intermediate level qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) OR Intermediate level qualification of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) OR Intermediate Level qualification of the Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA) OR Degree in Management or Commerce.
AND 2). At least three (3) years post-qualifying experience in accounting and finance in managerial capacity in a Government Department / Corporation/Board or a reputed Mercantile Establishment. |

12. Driver – (Vacancies 03)

Should have passed in the GCE O/L Examination in 6 subjects in not more than two sittings with 2 credit passes AND (b). Vocational Qualifications Driving License issued by the Department of Motor Traffic AND (c). 2 Years’ experience in the relevant field. In the Case of a driver, one must possess a Heavy Duty driving license with two years of driving experience. |

Conditions of Service: –
- Selected candidates will become the contributors to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), contributing 10% of their earnings and the SLIATE contributing 15% of their earnings from its funds, and also contributing 3% of their earnings to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
- The age limit is below 45 years as of the closing date for applications for all categories. However, this restriction does not apply to applicants who are in the permanent cadre of the Public/ Corporation service sector/ Statutory Boards.
- Applicants in Government Departments, Corporations and Statutory Boards should send their applications through the Head of respective Institutions.
- Selected candidates who are currently serving as public officers and are applying on a secondment or permanent basis must obtain their release through the Director General of Establishments, Ministry of Public However, they will not be entitled to pension right whilst in the service at SLIATE.
- All recruitments to these categories will be strictly in compliance with the provisions of the Scheme of Recruitment. Only candidates who fulfill the minimum qualifications stipulated in the Scheme of Recruitment (SOR) and satisfy the relevant grading/marking scheme approved by the Governing Council of SLIATE for the post will be shortlisted and called for an interview
- As per the decision taken on the 185th Governing Council meeting of SLIATE, held on 07.2019, the selected candidates recruited for the positions shall not be entitled to apply for annual transfers for a period of six (06) years from the date of appointment.
