| 🎓 Senior Lecturer | Option 1: Special Degree in a relevant field recognized by UGC + Postgraduate Diploma in Education + Postgraduate Degree in Education in a relevant field + minimum 08 years of Academic & Research Level experience after first degree.
Option 2: Special Degree in a relevant field recognized by UGC + Postgraduate Diploma in Education + PhD in a relevant field + minimum 05 years Academic & Research Level experience after the first degree. |

The EOI covers subject areas across the NIE faculties and departments, including Languages, Humanities & Social Sciences, Science & Technology, Research, Planning & Development, Teacher Education, Alternative Education, Education Leadership, Development & Management, Administration, Finance & Support Services, and various specialized subject areas.
Information Technology is specifically included, with ICT subject areas available in Sinhala/Tamil and other listed medium combinations.
