SLTB Driver Vacancies 2026

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Driver and Conductor vacancies on a contract basis at depots belonging to all regions of the Board.

1. G.C.E. (O/L) with 6 subjects and 02 credit passes, not more than two sittings.
2. Age between 21 – 45 years.
3. Valid heavy vehicle driving licence with more than 03 years.
4. Minimum weight 45 kg.
5. Height 5 feet 3 inches.
6. Good health.
7. Experience as a Heavy Passenger Vehicle Driver from a recognized institution is an added advantage.

1. G.C.E. (O/L) with 6 subjects including Mathematics and Mother Tongue, with 02 credit passes, not more than two sittings.
2. Age between 18 – 45 years.
3. Minimum weight 41 kg.
4. Height 5 feet.
5. Good health.

• Employee contribution to EPF 08% and employer contribution 12%.
• 03% contribution to ETF by the employer.
• Basic Contract Allowance, Cost of Living Allowance (Rs. 17,800/-), overtime, and incentive allowances will be paid.
• Duty assignment will be on a roster basis after recruitment.
• Recruitment will be based on an interview, practical test, and results of the training programme as per Board procedures.
• Transfers will not be entertained after appointment.
• A travel pass will be issued for travel within 30 km to and from the workplace.
