Filling the vacancies in the posts of Non – Technical Archaeological Assistant III / Watcher III of the Primary Level of the Department of Archaeology, which is under the Ministry of
Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs

Applications are invited to recruit on an open basis for the posts of (Non – Technical) Archaeological Assistant III / Watcher III of the Primary Level vacant at present at the Archaeological sites of the Department of Archaeology is situated throughout the island.

Educational Qualifications –

Shall have passed six (06) subjects at least with two credit passes in not more than two sittings at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination.

Professional Qualifications: Experience acquired in the relevant field will be treated as a special qualification.

Physical Qualifications: “Every candidate shall be of sufficient physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of Sri Lanka and to perform the duties in the post.
