Educational Qualifications

Applicants should have passed six (06) subjects with at least two (02) credit passes in not more than two sittings at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.

Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens, possess good moral character, and be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.

Higher preference will be given to relevant vocational qualifications and experience related to the duties of the post.

Salary and Service Conditions

The applicable salary scale is PL 1-2025, ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 61,880 per month. The post is permanent and pensionable, subject to the applicable government pension policy and conditions. The appointment is subject to a probationary period of three years.

Selection Method

Recruitment will be based on merit according to marks obtained at a structured interview conducted by an interview panel appointed by the Director General of the Department of Technical Education and Training.
